No Sale

NS, meaning No Sale; That is the comment I write in my notebook binder when I  make a presentation to a prospective customer and they don't purchase.Usually, it doesn't bother me when I have to write NS.My prospects simply didn't have a need and/or a desire for my life insurance product. No problem there,I just pack my presentation bag and move on.
That is usually the case. However, this past Friday I had a NS that bothered me.It bothered me because my prospect clearly had a need and a desire for my product and I somehow dropped the ball by not closing the sale. I'm feeling that I let the prospect down and my own family down by not closing that sale.
To help me drown my sorrows with this particular NS I'm committing to some audio and print form of sales educational material.I should be over it in a day or two.
On another note,I'm trying to get my hands on $300 so I can start my next extra money project.I know that may not sound like much money to some.In this household $300 is a lot of money. It would be nice if I could get a few good insurance sales,or a few white bird releases, so I can spare the $300.Here I am with a goal of $4000 a month of extra income and I can't even come up with $300. Oh well, I guess that is just part of the journey.
I'll be back to knocking on doors Monday morning trying to present my company's insurance products.
By 3:00pm I'll be punching the timeclock for 8 hours of work ay my regular blue-collar job.
